Senior Teddy Benbow, who moved out of his goalkeeper spot to join the offense, scored the team’s seventh goal with an assist to Candanoza. Philomath (6-0-1 overall, Oregon West) scored four goals in each half. Candanoza started the scoring barrage with the game’s first goal in the fourth minute with an assist to Arthurs.

Senior Seth Arthurs scored three goals and had two assists in the game, which ended on the eight-goal mercy rule in the 70th minute on an Arthurs goal. Senior Mateo Candanoza finished with two goals and three assists.
Arthurs followed with back-to-back goals — the first unassisted and the second on an assist to Candanoza.
